AS FOUND:
While enjoying a casual stroll on Big Block Night of the annual Frankenmuth Auto Fest, car show located in
mid-Michigan back in 2002.  I discovered this gem parked in a sea of Monster Hot Rods.  As luck would have it, there
was a For Sale sign attached to it; Needless to say, I couldn't resist; a few days later, I drove it home.

SOME FACTS and HISTORY ABOUT THIS CAR:
Built in Fremont California, this car was originally finished in Provincial White with a Red Interior.  Unlike the 442, which
came standard with a 400 cubic inch engine, and packing 345 horses, this particular A- Body was equipped with the
underpowered, but economical 155hp Econ-o-way V6, mated to 2speed Jet Away Transmission and a 3:55
posi-traction differential.   This power combination got this beauty around town, but cruising this car up and down the
Pacific Coast highway, while scenic, probably felt a bit like sailing.

While this car was considered completely restored at the time of purchase, this gem has since undergone extensive
Restification.  The following Mods have been done:

*  Ultra high performance Mondello 482 Cubic Inch Short Block, consisting of a specially modified Crank Shaft, Probe
Forged Flat Top Pistons, customer Roller Cam, and H-Beam Connecting Rods.  Topping it off with Wenzler Racing
Aluminum Cylinder Heads, Rocket Racking Intake and a Mighty Deamon 850CFM race-prepped carburator.
* A bullet proof TH 400 Transmission, transfers all that power to a custom built GM 10 bolt rear end with an Auburn
carrier and 4:10 gears.
*  Hotchkiss, and Hellwig Suspension components, along with,  QA1 Shocks and BF Goodrich tires help this car hook
up at the line and keep it planted in the twisties.
*  Cross Drilled and vented Disk Brakes help slow this beast down in a quick a safe manner.
*  Edelbrock Single Stage NOS kit rounds off the performance of this brute.
*  Complete and Total Painless Re-wire with modern fuse panel.
